Savannah Riverfront announces the 2012 Armed Forces Festival will return to Savanna’s historic riverfront Friday through Sunday, May 25, 26 and 27. This event is celebrates all our armed forces and pays tribute to the men and women that courageously fought… and fight for our country.
Enjoy unique, distinctive and quality hand-made arts and crafts for sale by featured local and regional artisans, DJ music, live entertainment and more all three days!

The experience would not be complete without great food, beverages and much more! Enjoy freshly prepared concessions available at two stations plus there will be funnel cakes, Italian ices, and frosty cold beverages to quench the thirst of all ages!
Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia National Guard Family Support Foundation. This foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. For more than 30 years, Savannah Riverfront has been a integral partner on such projects as First Friday Fireworks, public docks, the hospitality center, streetcar, Maritime History Panel project, cleaning initiatives and other improvements to the riverfront. Through sponsorship, membership and events, the Savannah Riverfront produces and funds improvements, firework shows and the world class River Street festival series at no cost to the public.
