The Savannah Tall Ships Challenge® and festival will take place on the historic banks of the Savannah River in mAY, 2012. Join us in recognizing Savannah’s nautical heritage while also commemorating the War of 1812. Enjoy participating in the magnificent display of international, domestic and military vessels. These fully rigged, multi-masted tall ships will grace our historic riverfront, returning it back to the rich maritime history enjoyed for more that two hundred and eighty years. The Savannah Waterfront Association, LTD. d/b/a Savannah Riverfront promotes the eclectic vitality of the shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels that create the one-of-a-kind, family-friendly experience found nowhere else in the world than Savannah’s historic riverfront.
